“I still have hope, we need to see positive change and bring communities together, to tackle homelessness and the ongoing crisis of addiction and mental health,” said Jennifer Savage of the Jubilee Center booth at Welcome to Timmins on Wednesday night. , September 4th.

“When people talk about the wait time to get into treatment, what people don’t understand is that it’s determination, we get people when they need it at that moment.

“We are doing everything we can. Most people log in immediately and it works. Some people come in and leave. They don’t want to be treated. It is difficult to find people who are willing to receive treatment.

“It’s a big problem. It is not only addiction, but also mental health. One customer at a time, we want to see people succeed. ”
